Brendella was founded in 1936 by Nora and Joady Fogarty, Eighty-six years ago. This begun the manufacturing of skirts in Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. They were determined to produce a well tailored, well fitted, well designed garment which offered good value to the customer.

Such was their success that women from many different countries chose to complete their wardrobes with a 'Brendella' skirt, prompting our slogan:
