The button placard is knitted in 2x2 rib which allows the coconut buttons to be placed centrally; the 2x2 rib is echoed at the cuff, hem and pocket edge. There is also a 2x2 rib at the sides, providing a slight structure to the cardigan and which complements the button placard. This knit loosely hugs the body naturally due to the integral elasticity of the fibres, making it very comfortable. Wear as a layering piece over a favourite T shirt with jeans and high tops. It also works well over a denim or tea dress. A great wardrobe staple. Knitted in nepped 100% Pure New Wool, in 3 gauge. The plain knit highlights the coloured nepps in the yarn, providing a tweed-like look. The fit is loose and easy, boyfriend cosy, in a slightly longer length than standard.
